A Donegal woman was amazed today after realising she had finally gotten on top of the laundry, having reached the end of the washing she began in March 2011.
Hannah Hotpoint, from Pettigo, made the astonishing discovery after folding her 14th T-shirt in a row, then walking to the laundry hamper to find it finally empty.
“I couldn’t believe it” said the 34 year-old mother of three. “I’d been washing and folding the babbie’s babygros, my son’s home and away football kit, daughter’s 8 pairs of skinny jeans, my husband’s 18 work shirts and then eventually my own one blouse, when there was actually nothing left to wash. It was a quare shock, hiy.”
The housewife, who also runs her own successful e-commerce website in the evenings, told Donegal Dollop she didn’t know what she’d do with her newly discovered free time but; “will probably make a start on the tops of those cupboards, before getting the spuds on.”
