You heard it folks, today is the 12th December 2012, or 12/12/12… WOW!
You won’t see that again for another 100 years, so chances are if you’re reading this you won’t be around at that time. Unless of course you’re showing it to a wean up to the age of around 10…and even at that, they’d have to live to be ONE HUNDRED AND TEN... SHOCKBAGS!
It might not be a complete palindrome, but it’s good enough for us here at the dollop to be A WEE BIT SPECIAL, we haven’t been this excited since, THE ELEVENTH NOVEMBER 2011 (11/11/11) or THE TENTH OF OCTOBER 2010 (10/10/10).
We hope you all really enjoy your x day of the x month of the x year, where x is the same value (with the exception of the year of course, where it only represents the last two digits in a four digit number). But don’t let that spoil the excitement… TOTES AMAZEDICKS!
It’s like the amount of time it takes the gradual shift in the orientation of Earth’s axis of rotation, to trace a full circle (which is approximately 26,000 years), except you’ve seen it EVERY YEAR for the past twelve years, and you’ll not see it again until 01/01/2101, or another 89 years!
