Letterkenny Gardaí are seeking war criminal and all-round bad guy, Joseph Kony, in connection with a recent incident in which a roadside advertising trailer was hurled onto an ostensibly deserted roundabout. Although Kony was not thought to be directly involved in the incident itself it is thought that he masterminded the entire operation from his hideout in the Democratic Republic of Congo and that the three youths allegedly spotted running from the scene were actually members of the Lord’s Resistance Army acting on his orders.

Local hipsters have set up an online campaign to assist the Gardaí in their search for the infamous war criminal, those who are interested in contributing can simply log on to their website, buy an over-priced T-shirt and armband, and then go around boasting about how you got involved in the campaign before everyone else did.

Joseph Kony’s connections to the county have been the subject of furious speculation recently with one source claiming that he once went on holiday to Glenveagh and that his iconic green cap was actually purchased in McElhinney’s of Ballybofey.
